What is the Working Days Calculator?
A working days calculator counts the days you'd actually be at work between two dates — weekends removed, plus any public holidays you specify subtracted on top. It builds on the simpler business days calculator by adding a choice of weekend pattern (useful if your organisation only treats Sunday as a weekly off) and a holiday count, making it the more accurate tool for real leave, payroll and project-deadline calculations where public holidays matter.
How to Calculate
It counts every day from the start to the end date (inclusive) and classifies each as a weekend or weekday based on the pattern you choose — Saturday+Sunday, Sunday only, or none. It then subtracts the number of public holidays you enter that fall within the range, giving a final working-day count that's ready to use directly for leave or payroll calculations, rather than one you still need to adjust by hand.
