What is the Time Zone Converter?
India uses a single unified time zone, IST (UTC+5:30), across the entire country despite its east-west span — unlike large countries such as the US, Russia or Australia, which are divided into multiple zones. This makes scheduling calls with international clients or remote teams in the US, UK, Middle East or Australia a common need for Indian professionals, since the time difference has to be worked out from a single fixed offset.
How to Calculate
Enter a time and select the source and destination time zones. The calculator finds the difference between the two zones' UTC offsets and applies it to your time, automatically wrapping to the next or previous day when the conversion crosses midnight.
Formula
Converted = time + (target offset − source offset)
