What is the Mining Profit Calculator?

Cryptocurrency mining is the process of using computing hardware to validate transactions and earn newly issued coins as a reward. Profitability depends on the coin's price, the network's mining difficulty (which rises as more miners join), your hardware's efficiency, and your electricity cost — the same hash rate can be profitable one month and loss-making the next as these shift.

How to Calculate

Enter the coins you expect to earn per day, the current coin price, your rig's power draw in watts, your electricity rate, and the mining pool's fee percentage. The calculator values your daily coin reward at the current price, deducts the pool fee, then subtracts the cost of the electricity your rig consumes over 24 hours to arrive at net daily profit.

Formula

Profit = Revenue × (1 − fee) − Power cost
