What is the Mean, Median, Mode Calculator?

The mean, median and mode are three ways to describe the "centre" of a set of numbers. The mean is the average, the median is the middle value, and the mode is the most frequent value. Together they summarise a dataset.

How to Calculate

Mean = sum ÷ count. Median = the middle value when sorted (or the average of the two middle values). Mode = the value(s) that appear most often. Range = largest − smallest.

Formula

Mean = Σx ÷ n

How to Use

  1. Enter the values in the fields above.
  2. The result updates instantly as you type.
