Age isn't a simple subtraction of dates — the calculator finds the calendar difference between two dates, carrying over from days to months to years correctly (e.g. borrowing days from the previous month when the day-of-month of your birth date hasn't occurred yet in the current month).
Worked Example
Someone born on 12 July 1996, calculated as of 12 July 2026, is exactly 30 years, 0 months, 0 days old.
