What is the Discount Calculator?

A discount calculator works out the sale price after a percentage is taken off the original price, and how much you actually save — handy during India's big sale seasons (Diwali, Republic Day, end-of-season sales) when tracking the real saving across multiple items or stacked offers can get confusing.

How to Calculate

Enter the original price and the discount percentage. The calculator finds your savings as price × discount%, then subtracts that from the original price to show the final amount you'll actually pay — worth double-checking against the till price, since some "discounts" are calculated on an inflated MRP rather than genuine everyday pricing.

Formula

Final price = price × (1 − discount% ÷ 100)

How to Use

  1. Enter the values in the fields above.
  2. The result updates instantly as you type.
